Ko tō tūranga – Your role

An exciting role has opened up in our Network Quality and Devices team to play a crucial role in the improvement of our fixed network space. Working with a small team, you will work with varied data sets to ensure our network performance is the best in the country.

You will be empowered to use the right tools and your own methodologies to manipulate and present data to both internal and external stakeholders, and will take ownership over highly visible outcomes.

Ko tō mahi – What you’ll do

The focus of your position is to improve the performance of Vodafone NZ’s Fixed Network Connections, and your role will include the following aspects:

• Set high level technical direction & targets to deliver to network objectives
• Monitor & drive NPS plan on behalf of Technology
• Deliver #1 Best Network via independent benchmarks
• Deliver consolidated data & KPI reporting to Execs & Group council (BPR / TPR)
• Developing and refining Customer Experience KPIs and test methods
• Managing Probe Performance capability and related external parties
• Seek out & implement best practice tools & processes in relation to Performance Management & E2E Customer Experience.

The successful candidate will be capable of working independently to produce substantial, visible outcomes, and you will show the following capabilities:

• Good understanding of various data sources including data drive, probe data, network counters & traces
• Capability with Tableau, Alteryx and AWS
• A strong focus on the customer experience
• Broad knowledge of the telco industry and telco technologies
• Good communication skills and ability to form strong relationships across teams and disciplines, and work together to produce great results
