The Procurement Operations Lead role is part of the Procurement Excellence and Operations team within our centralised Procurement Function. Procurement Operations is responsible for delivering world-class operational support and owning the systems landscape throughout the end to end Procure-to-Pay process. This includes developing and measuring process improvement, supplier onboarding, catalogue establishment and management, purchase order management, vendor payment terms, supplier master data management, systems administration and support (SAP Ariba and iCertis).

The Procurement Operations team will ensure Procurement KPIs are in place to measure performance across the services delivered by the centralised procurement team to internal stakeholders, and will work closely with the relevant Category Principals, Vendor Managers and suppliers to ensure adherence to procurement policy.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

• Share process and systems expertise through training and communications with internal users, ensuring knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.
• Build expert solution knowledge by leveraging available SAP Ariba resources.
• Help ensure success within the realm and scope of the SAP Ariba source to pay solutions.
• Drive resolution of system and/or data related issues by communicating and working with SAP Ariba support and internal IT.
• Create, manage and maintain Supplier Master Data in the SAP systems.
• Check the quality of master data creation and maintenance for completeness, correctness of names, addresses, banking details and other relevant fields of input.
• Create and manages custom reports and reporting dashboards.
• Establish system controls in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
• Onboard suppliers to the Ariba Network and work directly with the supplier community to assist with execution of onboarding requirements to the Ariba Network.
• Assist in the implementation of the new procurement business processes for suppliers.

• Strong Procure to Pay experience preferably in technology environments
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyse data and resolve problems
• Analytics and problem-solving skills
• Stakeholder management
• Proven expertise with SAP Ariba
• Understanding of Agile / Growth mind-set and experience role modelling these behaviours
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA
