Due to internal promotion to our Board of Management, we seek to recruit for the Head of Service Market role at Volkswagen Group Ireland.
VGIE aftersales turnover will achieve a record €100mio in turnover by 2025. We seek someone with strong leadership skills who is capable and passionate about driving growth and profit margin across numerous channels via the Dealer networks and 6 of our Brands. Reporting to the VGIE Director Group Aftersales, the successful candidate will work closely with the VGIE BOM, VWFS, and the senior leadership teams in Kassel, the six OEMs, VWFS in Braunschweig, as well as the Dealer network and the Group Aftersales team. Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and getting the job done are the two critical prerequisites for this role.
As the Head of Service Market, you will be responsible for the following:
Maximising parts turnover and profit VGIE and the Dealer network through parts sales, service marketing programmes and loyalty programmes
Leading a team to achieve department and company objectives and implement Volkswagen AG strategy
Develop and grow the NORA (Trade) channel, oil and tyres business, conduct market analysis, set service level agreements and targets, and report on key performance indicators.
Increase loyalty penetration, working with the Brands and VWFS.
To be successful in this role, the following is preferable:
Previous experience in a senior management role in the automotive industry
A demonstrable career history of negotiation, delivering results, developing strategies and leading change initiatives, including exposure to the customer journey and digitalisation
A relevant degree in business, marketing, automotive or a related field.
