VSP Global Hiring for Resident Applications at Remote Full Time
With supervision, mentoring, and guidance, deliver effective technical documentation, automated test scripts, and/or software components. Participate in the implementation of test scripts and software components within projects, and/or products. Participate in technical design, planning, testing, and implementation within Agile development process. Gain professional experience working with multiple teams and technologies. Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, business partners, and leaders.
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Learn to translate business user stories and requirements to technical designs
Gain hands-on industry experience by developing automated test scripts, small enhancements, programs, features, modules, and/or project components in a timely and cost – effective manner
Participate with team in design, development, testing and implementation discussions
Deliver code, and actively participate throughout testing, and implementation within an agile environment; learn to understand technical designs and deliver upon technical commitments
Gain experience debugging code and participating in code walkthroughs with project team
Enhance problem solving skills by learning to analyze simple incidents and problems; understand root cause analysis and aid in solution development process
Gain experience with GTS architectural guidelines, standards and agile delivery discipline processes
Interact and effectively communicate with GTS staff and Business Partners
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Current college student or recent college graduate majoring in Computer Science, MIS, or related coursework
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for simple problems
Excellent organization and time management skills
Meet organization best practices, expectations, and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
