Vspec Hiring for Claims Coordinator at Remote Full Time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process incoming claim assignments

• Make initial contact with vehicle owners to set expectations, gain additional loss information, and assist with the selection of an appropriate vendor to complete needed repairs.

• Make vendor assignments and coordinate the procurement of repair estimates and photos

• Maintain thorough records for all relevant claim file activity 

• Effectively communicate relevant claim file activity with appropriate parties

• Assist technical team in collecting required information from clients, vehicle owners and vendors as needed

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries

• Effectively resolve customer complaints, or escalate to management as appropriate

Experience, Education & Training

• Associates degree, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service

• Working knowledge of relevant computer applications

• Knowledge of administrative procedures

• Proficient typist
