Job Title: Pre-Certification Rep
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19111
Available Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Day shift)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Duties and Activities:
This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties. Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.
Requirements
- Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Experience 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role (Required)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
