Vulcan Looking for Class 4 Delivery Driver at Palmerston North, Wanganui-Manawatu, New Zealand Full Time

We are looking for 1 x experienced class 4 delivery driver. This is a fulltime permanent position.

We deliver our steel products to our clients in the Lower North Island area. Our operation is located in Kelvin Grove – Palmerston North.

You would need to have a good level of physical fitness and a can do attitude. This is a busy role and hours will be minimum 40 between 7am – 5.30pm daily Monday – Friday. On the odd occasion there maybe some requirement to work on a Saturday. We pay an hourly rate plus time and half over 40hrs. Current role averages between 45 – 55 hours per week. We deliver our products to our clients across Lower North Island this will be either a daily run to Hawkes Bay or a local greater Manawatu run – no two days are the same it is not a set delivery run. Requirements

We require a person who has:

• Good geographical knowledge of Lower North Island area
• Happy disposition – sense of humour
• Good level of Physical fitness, ability to bend and lift, strapping down of loads and tarping in wet weather are common and a daily task
• Current minimum class 4 licence with at least 1 years experience
• Able to confidently reverse into sometimes difficult places.
• Good attention to detail and intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
