Vulcan Looking for Experienced Store Person at Mosgiel, Otago, New Zealand Full Time

This position is permanent, full time, and the successful candidate will be based at our new Mosgiel site.

We are looking for a store person/ class 2 delivery driver to join our busy team. We are currently based in our brand new site in Mosgiel. You will be required to pick and pack orders, assist loading the delivery truck along with other stores duties. You may be required to drive our small delivery truck on occasions. This role is between the hours of 7.30 am and finishes approximately 4.30-5pm (depending on the work flow hours are flexible as long as we have cover) Monday – Friday with a small amount of weekend work as and when required. Minimum of 40hrs. (We pay overtime penal rates for hours worked above 40) The role is full time and permanent and as an organisation we can offer job stability and career progression for the right person. This is not a sole charge position and you will be working with a team. The role is available for an immediate start.

Requirements

You will ideally have the following:

• Forklift licence
• Experience receipting stock
• Experience picking stock
• Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Occasionally Saturday work is required
• Team player
• Good sense of humour
• Minimum of Full car licence- preferably a Class 2 licence
• Good local area/region knowledge would be an advantage for deliveries
• Reliable

Remuneration is an hourly rate plus penal rates for overtime as well as other benefits.
