This position is fulltime and permanent, the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan site in Mosgiel.

Requirements

This role is Monday – Friday between the hours of 7.00am – 5pm. Flexibility is required with start and finish times. The contract is for 40 hours with occasional requirements for overtime. Overtime hours above 40 are paid at time and half.

We require you to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as this role requires close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. The role is picking and packing of orders, receipting stock and putting this away and attending occasionally to customers who arrive onsite.

You will need the following :-

• Forklift licence
• Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime if required
• Team player
• Good sense of humour
• Minimum full class 1 drivers licence
• Intermediate level of skill with technology
• Reliable
• Excellent understanding and adherence to health & safety procedures
• Experience with an overhead gantry crane would be preferrable
