W.D.C. Kitchen & Bath Center Hiring for Data Entry Specialist at Moorpark, CA Full Time

WDC Kitchen & Bath Center is looking for a Data Entry Specialist to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY: The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for gathering data and captures the information into the Company’s databases. This position will be responsible for supporting the Company’s Purchasing Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Verifies accuracy of data imputed into the database.

2. Tracks documents received and completion dates.

3. Processes Proof of Delivery Invoices.

4. Assist and train new data entry operators.

5. Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.

6. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.

7. Resolve receiving error issues in database.

8. Completes reports as needed and requested.

9. Develop relationships with suppliers to resolve delivery and quality concerns and obtain documents.

10. Assist Purchasing Manager with projects as needed.

11. Organize documents submitted by vendors at time of Purchase Order submission or delivery of goods.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Knowledge of Excel software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Good computer skills.
• Data entry skills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED: :

1. Ability to follow policies and procedures.

2. Ability to operate computer system, copier, printer and telephone.

3. Familiarity with (a certain type, if applicable) terminology and concepts.

4. Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

5. Demonstrates good listening skills.

6. Demonstrates good organizational skills

7. Ability to think creatively and problem solve with little supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
