Shop Assistant – Papamoa
Waipuna Hospice has a high profile in the Bay of Plenty for providing specialist community palliative care. Our geographical reach covers Waihi Beach to Paengaroa and while our focus is on hospice-at-home, we also have an established inpatient unit and we support a large community team. These services are funded through DHB contracts, fundraising and income from our charity retail shops.

About The Job
Based in our Papamoa Charity Shop, this position will work closely with our Shop Manager and team to present and sell donated goods and contribute to the Waipuna Hospice using Waipuna Core Values.
The hours are 28 hours per week and includes permanent weekend work on a Saturday, there is also the opportunity for additional hours to cover staff leave.
This is a varied role and includes sorting donated goods, providing exceptional customer service, working on the till, shop displays/merchandising. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We need someone that’s physically fit, energetic and is happy to roll their sleeves up and go where the work is.
