Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr operates an online ordering technology platform, providing delivery, carryout and dine-in options. Waitr, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, connect local restaurants and grocery stores to diners in underserved U.S. markets. Together, they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food and other products from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of June 30, 2021, Waitr, Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes operate in small and medium sized markets in the United States in over 900 cities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re redefining the dining experience by building a world-class mobile ordering and delivery platform. Waitr, Bitesquad, and Delivery Dudes marketplace is helping small businesses grow and acquire new customers while also bringing concierge-level convenience to thousands of consumers. Our growth has been off the charts and has no signs of slowing down.
A Retention Specialist contributes to the continued success of our restaurant partners, more specifically concerning retention and service issues. Successful candidates should possess excellent restaurant/customer relationship skills. Soft sales skills will be a significant positive for this position. The specialist must portray excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and reflect the Waitr Holdings, Incorporated core values.
Essential Functions
Reporting metrics to direct management
Hubspot monitoring to complete tickets promptly
Other Support functions based on the needs of the company
Updating Restaurant basic account and financial information as needed
Investigating problems when needed for restaurant financials/disbursements
Communicating regularly with restaurant partners via email or phone
Ensuring that retained restaurants continue to receive the best quality of service
Working with Retention Manager on best practices for retaining restaurants, depending on the situation
Providing partners with high-level support to secure product satisfaction
Write and prepare Master Service Agreements using an online e-signature platform
Requirements
Detail-oriented, support focused, multitasker
Able to communicate clearly and concisely over the phone, email, and chat
Proficient grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proof-reading
In-depth knowledge of Waitr and Bite Squad’s Support procedures and policies
At least six months of experience in Waitr or BSQ Partner Support
High school diploma (Bachelors degree preferred)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Experience in restaurant support, retention experience is a positive
Schedule:
This role is a full-time position. Days and work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Job duties may demand evening and weekend work.
