The Marketing Advisor is part of a team that develops, delivers and manages high-profile evidence-based marketing-led campaigns and initiatives to address complex issues. Promoting good road user choices, the programme strives to driving long-term sustainable social change and build social licence.

To be successful in this role, you will:
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

The Education and Marketing team plays a strategic role in resetting the road safety conversation to enable the success of Road to Zero, New Zealand’s road safety strategy. Specifically, the team is accountable for building social licence for road safety interventions and driving long-term sustained behaviour change through a range of education and marketing programmes. Our goal is to increase peoples motivation and capability to use the land transport system safely by applying a deep understanding of our audiences and their environment.
