Water Inspired Conservation Group Hiring for Office Team/Administrative Assistant Job at Waialua, HI Full Time

Office team member position with potential for fast growth to management position.

We are looking for two new people to help run the office of a smaller company that focuses on marine animal conservation.

**Please do not apply if you are allergic to, or do not like, cats, small dogs, and birds. Our company focuses on animal conservation so we need people who love helping animals please.

We are looking for someone that is a quick learner, and works well on their own but can also effectively organize and communicate with the owners and crew of the company throughout the day via text.

Daily responsibilities include:

Answering all incoming text, calls, and emails and communicating and organizing requests into a calendar, booking system, or getting in touch with the owners for needed information to pass along.

Posting on all of the companies social media channels: Instagram, facebook, TikTok, Youtube, Twitter, and basic website updates. Responding to a few comments across most accounts.

Assisting owners with the coordination of special projects or collaborations or media inquiries, scheduling, and assets

Corresponding with different clients and affiliates for different projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

Inputting the hours or charters worked into a spreadsheet daily in order to do a basic prep for payroll twice per month.

Packing and shipping some online store orders

Feeding two small cute pups, 5 cats, and pet birds twice a day and making sure they have clean water daily.

Watering plants outside of the office and feeding pets that are near the office and occasionally taking them to a vet appointment (additional compensation for fuel for any driving for any errands out of Haleiwa is provided.)

1X a month we select 1-2 of our team to help manage our monthly beach clean ups. This is just setting up a tent at the beach, some signs, and putting out provided materials (beach clean up bags, gloves, and prizes and taking people’s names for additional prizes.)

You must:

-MUST already know how to use and be fast and efficient with Apple products (iPhone and iMac.)

-Must already know how to use: Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, etc.

-Be on the island of Oahu

-Be a legal US citizen

-Have your own reliable transportation

-Able to work Saturday and Sunday and three other days during the week from 7am to 3pm. You can pick the other three days and then they will be set.

-Have a professional positive attitude even in stressful times

-Able to work fast and keep up with the high volume of text that come in

-Be a very detailed person who is organized and good at keeping a schedule

-Must like animals

-Thrive in a face paced environment.

Work Remotely & Covid Considerations

• Position is not possible for remote applicants.

• Workspaces are kept clean and for the most part you will have your own office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $26.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
