WaterOutlook Looking for Data Analyst at Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We’re looking for whizz-bang, self-motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team to become a valued technical expert for our clients in New Zealand and around the world.

We are a SaaS cloud-based company that ties together mission-critical data sources into a single hub for operations, compliance, energy, carbon, and KPI reporting. We provide the highest level of data integrity, are independent, and third-party audit grade.

You will become a super user of our platform, implementing robust data solutions that help our clients work more efficiently and effectively, and provide them with application support. You will manipulate and analyse data, create reports and graphs, and use our software to meet our clients’ needs. 

We need a team player with:

·        An understanding of process engineering and applying software applications

·        Solid experience with Excel and data analysis (lookups, logic, statistics, and math functions)

·        Three to five years’ experience in engineering, environmental science, local government, or primary industry

·        Ability to learn fast and develop professional skills

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Strong attention to detail and the desire to strive for a high level of excellence

·        Outcome focused with a positive can-do attitude

·        An ability to read P&IDs and PFDs, or similar technical documentation

·        Some understanding of SCADA
