THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to contribute to Education’s vision to become the undisputed leader and best industry partner in ANZ, by delivering a high performing Education territory contributing to NIS growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FIELD EDUCATION

• Operating in Wella’s G3 structure, deliver Education leadership and support to our salon customers in your territory
• Drive GROW and GAIN via Education-led activity
• Facilitate F2F and online Education seminars and activity, in line with the Education curriculum  
• Respond to customer needs with solutions based on technical knowledge and experience
• Complete Wella’s Education Academy (EdAc) in line with business expectations
• Drive reach and engagement through your own corporate handles, to build your profile as an industry influencer

OPERATIONAL

• Report analysis to identify opportunities
• Customization of seminar material (where applicable)
• Cross-functional collaboration with both NSW sales team and ANZ education team

SUCCESS MEASURES

• Achieving goals set by the business including, but not limited to: GROW (NIS, x-distribution)/GAIN (doors) in your territory, contributing to State and total business results
• Coverage targets of priority G3 doors in your territory
• Full attendance at your facilitated seminars (on/offline)
• Achieving EdAc goal
• Social media growth (Earned Media Value) on your corporate profiles

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL

• HD technical expertise, with excellent knowledge of Salon Professional products and education services
• 5+ years salon experience
• Structured, solution-oriented thinking with a proactive growth mindset
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills
• High level of social competence, liked by internal and external customers
• Digitally savvy, understanding of social media and basic content creation
• Willingness to travel

IMPORTANT

• Ability to work closely with broader Multifunctional Team across (where applicable) Education, Sales, Marketing
• Ability to respond effectively to multiple demands and complex situations
• Excellent use of digital channels for customers and team communication (Teams, Zoom, IG, TikTok, Facebook)
• Strong competitor awareness and in-depth knowledge of beauty/HD industry & local marketplace
• Creative thinker and ideation
• Excellent operational discipline

DESIRABLE  

• Previous experience in similar role
