Wellington Hospitality Group Looking for Casual Event Staff – Black & Gold at Karori Full Time

Black & Gold Events are gearing up for a busy 2022!

At Black and Gold we are growing rapidly and have been pumping all through the Summer months! We are looking for candidates to join our team to deliver meetings and events in some of Wellington’s most unique venues. We’re looking for candidates with experience in customer service (working at events and functions is a plus)! You must be able to work as part of a team with an absolute passion for delivering great events to five star standards, have attention to detail, work under pressure and most importantly have fun.

We deliver all types of meetings and events, from a boardroom for five to International Cricket Matches and everything in between, such as….. weddings, birthdays, corporate meetings, exhibitions, ICC events, nothing is too big or too small.

We’re seeking casual event staff. You must be available to work day or evening/late shifts. Shifts will vary from set up to catering at the actual events. Extra points if you hold A Duty Manager’s licence!

Key requirements include:

• Pre-service set-up and break-down of functions and events
• We need a self-motivated individual!
• Basic experience of customer service & events/functions would be added advantage
• Should be able to work in a high-volume operation
• Any experience handling and preparing food items is a massive bonus!

You must be able to work as part of a team with an absolute passion for delivering great events to five star standards, have attention to detail, deliver to our brand standards, be creative and think outside the box, work under pressure and most importantly have fun.
