About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer. This role will focus in designing and sustaining complex solutions and systems in support of Wells Fargo’s internal mobile platform. Resource will act a t the highest level of technical authority in researching industry trends, identifying product and solutions that best match our technical and business requirements, and leading technical resources through the necessary phases of testing and design needed to deploy the product to one of the largest mobile environments in the industry. This individual also provide application guidance and consultation, support the engineering of new solutions, provide sustainment efforts for existing systems, and support the review and certification of mobile applications to be used in the platform. The role will require an ability to work with various resources such as technical leads, business analysts, system analysts, DBAs and other cross-department teams to evaluate business requirements and provide an end-to-end solutions in the mobile space.
In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Proven track record delivering engineered solutions using Microsoft Intune and at least one of the other mobile platforms such as VMWare Workspace One, Blackberry UEM or Mobile Iron.
Strong understanding of designing and supporting mobile device platforms (iOS and Android) in both corporate and BYOD deployment scenarios.
Demonstrated understanding of securing both mobile devices and managed mobile applications
Strong experience developing scripts and code to automate tasks using languages such as PowerShell
Understanding of Microsoft conditional access concepts and best practices for implementation
Strong experience integrating solutions with DNS, Load balancing, Proxy, PKI, identity access management and Window Server technologies
Strong troubleshooting skills for mobile solutions including device related issues, server / platform issues, network and mobile applications
Ability to work in a geographically diverse business environment
Proven track record leading teams of engineers and project resources while multi-tasking around several initiatives.
Strong communication skills and ability to deliver complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
Ability to influence and provide technical direction to senior leadership on mobile topics
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to support large scale mobile device deployments larger than 10k devices
Strong understanding of managing mobile application lifecycles
Understanding of Intune role based administration
Understanding of KNOX and Android Enterprise Workspace technologies
Demonstrated experience integrating and deploying Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) solutions
Understanding of Office 365 products, Azure, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint, Skype, Teams and the integration into overall Microsoft portfolio
Understanding of on premise Exchange and SharePoint
Strong experience developing infrastructure glue logic using scripting and development languages
Experience supporting remote access technologies on mobile platforms
Experience supporting and planning infrastructure efforts with Windows server
Understanding of SQL/database technologies and ability to build complex queries to meet requirements for data gathering efforts
Technical certification on Microsoft Software as a Service (SAAS) solutions
