About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Fiduciary Specialist within the Estate Services Liaison team of Wealth and Investment Management.
The Estate Services Liaison Team is the national team responsible for review, acceptance, and onboarding of all estate settlement accounts and is the Estate Services resource for Banking, Lending and Trust and Wells Fargo Bank. All accounts accepted into Estate Services are shepherded through the new account process by the Estate Services Liaison Team. Also, after being notified of a Trust Services client’s death, an Estate Services Liaison Teammember is assigned to review the governing documents and disposition existing Trust Services accounts. The Estate Services Liaison Team works closely with our Estate Administration Teams, Estate Advisory Specialists, Tangible Personal Property Specialists, Post Mortem Tax Planners and Relationship Managers in the field.
In this role, you will:
Review complex Estate plans and a variety of Trust documents and assets
Act as subject matter expert in various phases of Estate settlement
Proactively complete Estate settlement onboarding tasks which may include: reviewing and interpreting estate planning documents, performing due diligence and risk analysis for new death settlement opportunities, proactively engaging in conversations with the relationship team, centers of influence and beneficiaries on specific estate settlement matters
Identify issues, research across jurisdictions and work with Risk partners to Resolve moderately complex trust onboarding issues
Review and analyze large, complex trust and asset challenges that require an in depth evaluation of variable factors
Consult with internal partners and outside attorneys, accountants, and other Centers of Influence in managing and controlling risk
Required Qualifications, US:

A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Juris Doctor (JD)
Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA)
Multiple years of direct experience in estate, trust or fiduciary administration
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work in a team based environment
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations that demonstrate sound rationale, experience, and judgment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
An active CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certification
