Responsibilities
The Patient Representative functions under the direction of the Chief Technologist or Manager. Performs all necessary duties as directed. Acts
as a greeter making a positive first impression. Assists guests by providing directions, leading individuals to their
destinations when necessary, and making sure all orders are obtained and accurate. Acts as a liaison among patients,
family members, visitors and staff in assigned areas. Demonstrate knowledge and how to deal with age specific
population. When dealing with patients, provides safe, age appropriate care. Coordinates schedules with orders and
obtains orders from physicians’ offices as needed in compliance with No Order/No Test. Responsible for performing a
wide variety of procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment.

Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday – Friday
Outpatient Registration
Will greet patients upon entry and monitor the lobby. Follow up on customer service complaints and provide service recovery in addition to the job description.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: High School Graduate. Associates degree preferred
Required Minimum Certification: N/A
Required Minimum Experience: Two years working within a healthcare or hospitality environment.
Required Minimum Skills: High energy level. Prefer training with computers, medical terminology or customer service.
Must possess the following skills: Excellent Communication skills, Organizational skills, Decision-Making/Problem
solving skills and Stress management. The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written
English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar’s “Standards of Gold”).
