Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant functions under the direction of the Director to provide specialized administrative support to Senior Leader(s). Relieves the executive of administrative type functions to increase the time an executive has available to executive level responsibilities. May handle a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the clerical and administrative functions of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda and reports. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education
- Two years of college or equivalent work experience
Required Minimum Experience
- Five years experience in healthcare with two years experience as an executive secretary
- Heavy computer experience required with extremely strong skills in Word, Excel and Power Point
- Very strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interface with senior leaders, physicians and staff from a service excellence perspective
- Must have an understanding of today’s changing healthcare industry

- Self-directed, ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple assignments without direct supervision. Ability to work collaboratively with and through other people
