MAIN DUTIES:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking for an English (Ireland) Language Specialist for one of our global financial clients. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Translating from English US into English (Ireland)
- CAT Tool: Previous experience with CAT Tools required. This collaboration will require using a client specific tool, Shuttle. Previous experience is valuable, but our team will offer trainings and support.
- Memsource Jira
- Expected Capacity per week/month: around 10 hours per week.
- Other requirements: The Language Specialist is responsible for working with the linguists and the client, updating the reference materials, query managing and occasionally doing some reviews or translations
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Translation/Reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
- The candidate should be quite computer savvy
- Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
- Excellent communications skills in English (spoken and written).
- Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
- Able to follow instructions, eg. character restrictions, etc.
- Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their translation skills.
