Wesgroup is seeking a talented Property Administrator to join its Residential Property Management team. The Property Administrator will be an integral part of the team, interacting with property managers, resident managers, accounting, technicians and tenants. This role helps with administration for residential properties. The Property Administrator will manage a variety of property management tasks, as well as manage the Online Service Centre and Hotline. This role will report to the Director of Residential Asset Management. The role of Property Administrator will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Support a team of Property Managers with the administration of their portfolios
• Liaise and coordinate with resident managers, tenants and contractors
• Build and nurture strong tenant relationships
• Assist with monthly reporting, rent collections and accounts payable
• Assist with preparation of lease documentation
• Assist with obtaining quotes, reviewing contracts, issuing purchaser orders, and coordination of trades
• Assist with coordination of move in / move outs
• Prepare security deposit refund forms and cheque requisitions
• Assist with strata condo management
• Occasionally attending viewings and meeting tenants
• Assist Property Managers with creating evidence packages for RTB hearings
• Manage and update online rental ads for vacant units
• Work with Accounting to review and administer rent increase notices on a monthly basis
• Filing and updating records of tenant- related and property-related documents
• Prepare correspondence and notices
• Assist accounting with EHT Declarations/ Vacancy tax declarations
• Administration and management of the Yuhu tenant portal
• Perform other administrative duties as required

Qualifications and Knowledge:

• 2+ years of experience in a property management admin or support position
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills including the ability to multi-task with competing priorities
• Excellent understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced team environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
• Positive attitude and a desire to help others
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Yardi and Yuhu would be beneficial
