Weskota Manor Avera Hiring for Maintenance Manager at WESSINGTON SPRINGS, South Dakota Full Time

Will mainly work from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Will work weekends and holidays as needed/rotating.
The Maintenance Manage will report to the Administrator. The Maintenance Manager will work together with the AWMH Maintenance Manager on projects as needed and for entire facility and campus maintenance operations. Maintains and services mechanical systems for the facility. Demonstrates ability to do basic plumbing, repairs, troubleshoot, electrical circuits, motors, etc. Working knowledge of telephone system, heating, air conditioning, boiler, and hydraulic principles. Operates machinery such as Grasshopper and loader. Repairs and maintains grounds, outbuildings, fences and tools, and equipment used. Cleans sidewalks, walkways, and parking lots in the event of snow, mows lawn, and keeps premises looking neat and clean. Provides carpentry service to improve appearance of facility. Checks, cleans and inspects equipment and tools and keeps them in good working order. Works with the administrator to ensure appropriate utilization of the department’s resources by effectively planning and implementing capital and operating budgets and maintaining established productivity goals. Completes work orders. Maintains logs and records of servicing of equipment according to the preventative maintenance plan.
