The West Central Nebraska Area Agency on Aging isaccepting applicationsfor a full-time Programs Coordinator. Duties include:Serving as an advocate for the elderly;Monitoring senior centers and senior meal sites in our PSA for compliance with the Older American’s Act, State Unit on Aging, and DHHS regulations and requirements;Coordinating and facilitating annual assessments of senior centers and meal sites in our PSA;Development and coordination of the senior center and meal site training regarding aging services, nutrition, sanitation, and health and safety issues; andAdministration of program forms, reports, data collection, and invoices to determine providers’ compliance, accuracy, and cost-efficiencyPosition Requirements: High school degree or equivalent, Bachelors or Associate degree in related field preferred, adequate presenting and speaking skills, and a valid driver’s license. Local travel is required.
