West Texas Centers Hiring for EHR & MEDICAL RECORDS MANAGER – P140 Job at Big Spring, TX Full Time

The Electronic Health Record (EHR) & Medical Records Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a viable Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) EHR system for the 23 county area that West Texas Centers (WTC) serves. Duties also include onsite and remote support for designated WTC applications and resources, active representation of WTC in decision-making process regarding automation, efficient communication of all policies/procedures regarding EHR, and serving as the Medical Records Administrator for WTC confidential patient database. This EHR & Medical Records Coordinator will report directly to the Director of OI&T.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: 3 years or more of Medical Records and/or Electronic Health Record System Management.
• Preferred: Knowledge of State and Federal PII and PHI laws and regulations.
• Requirred: Must have and maintain a Valid Drivers License and driving record that is acceptable for insurability through our insurance carrier.
• Requirred: Must pass background check and drug screening.
