The opportunity

Our People team is looking for an experienced and proactive Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead to join us. This is an exciting role that provides strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing leadership, coaching and mentoring to key stakeholders across the business. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and proactively lead the design and delivery of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing initiatives that empower our people leaders to lead their people.

To set you up for success, you’ll have

• Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or a related field at NZQA Level 6 or higher.
• Extensive Health, Safety & Wellbeing experience at a senior leadership level.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong relating and networking abilities, building long term relationships and engagement.
• The ability to positively influence behaviour change and decision making through building and maintaining good relationships across a large stakeholder group.
• Competency in the use of Microsoft software programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
