Western Tractor Company Inc., a 4-store John Deere dealer located in Southern Alberta, is searching for a permanent Part-Time Receptionist / Service Administrator to join our growing John Deere agricultural equipment group for our Burdett location. Western Tractor is located at the center of an irrigated agricultural area that is known for the variety of specialty crops that it produces. John Deere is the number one brand of Agricultural, Turf and Commercial Construction equipment in the area and has been represented by Western Tractor in Southern Alberta since the 1930’s. Job Summary

The primary focus of the Receptionist is to courteously greet and direct customers and to transfer calls to the appropriate staff members while maintaining a positive and healthy attitude in a high paced environment. This position, often referred to as “The Director of First Impressions”, involves some administrative work, however, it is primarily “all about people” and the primary requirement is to be a “people person”.

The primary focus of the Service Administrator is to maintain accurate and on-time reports and records for the service department’s operation within the organization.

Hours of Work

• 2-3 days per week
• Friday 8 am – 5 pm (Year-Round)
• Saturday & General Holidays 8 am – 5 pm (Approximately April – October)
• Additional Coverage as Required

Experience and Training Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Switchboard Experience
• Cash Balancing Experience
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
