Westland Milk Products Looking for Quality Officer at Hokitika, West Coast, New Zealand Full Time

Based in Hokitika and reporting to the Quality Operations Team Leader, we are looking for a Quality Officer to embrace a customer focused quality system and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance throughout our operations. This is a broad and varied role ensuring the effective resolution of quality issues, enhancing quality performance and reducing non-conformances at an operational level.

Our Preferred Candidate Will Ideally Possess The Following Qualities

• Tertiary education in science or quality disciplines or demonstrated experience
• Knowledge and experience of quality systems, HACCP and auditing
• Understanding of process control principles
• Experience in change management
• Ability to understand and interpret technical and official documents
• Experience with working within a highly regulated industry
• Sound computer and MS Office skills and the ability to write reports
