Westland Milk Products Looking for S&OP Planner at Christchurch, Canterbury Full Time

About the role:

Reporting to our Material Planning Lead and based in our new Hornby offices, we are looking for a Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) Planner to provide a range of support to our S&OP team. The role will be predominantly responsible for material resource planning across the ingredients and packaging categories and will accordingly focus on material planning, Purchase Order execution, order confirmations, order management and order delivery in conjunction with all P&I inventory management.

The S&OP Planner will also assist with the planning of our third-party manufacturers and with the S&OP tools maintenance and continuous improvement.

Applicants will ideally be:

• A graduate in a Supply Chain or Business field or possess previous experience in a planning role
• Knowledgeable and experienced in core purchasing skills, (ideally international purchasing and freight) is desirable.
• Experienced in supply chain systems and data analysis
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
• Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Well organised with sound attention to detail & good presentation skills
• Have a positive attitude to be responsive.
• Good problem solvers and able to exercise judgement and decision making
• Committed to continuous improvement
