Executive Assistant to the CEO WBC NZ Branch
Permanent full-time role
Located in Britomart, Auckland
This is no ordinary EA role. We are on the hunt for someone fabulous to partner with our CEO WBC NZ Branch. If you are a quick thinker, able to pre-empt issues, super organised and able to stay one step ahead of the game, then we are keen to hear from you.
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
You will have exceptional planning and organisation skills which, will drive efficiencies for the CEO, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, whilst also providing sound administrative and operational support to the wider Financial Markets leadership team. No matter what, you will always be the epitome of professionalism and always seek out new and better ways of working.
You will have the drive and energy to make this exciting and varied role look seamless. You will have a natural nous and using your initiative will be second nature. In addition to your superior interpersonal and organisational skills, you will have proven experience in a similar role and be able to bring a confidence to it. You will be expected to play an active part in leadership meetings and ideally have some experience dealing with governance.
The administration tasks are traditional whilst also having a wide scope of responsibilities for those that love to get involved in the intricacies of the business. You will be navigating these tasks with a strong business acumen and high EQ will be key.

Significant experience in large complex, corporate environment combined with proven success in an Executive Assistant role supporting a General Manager or Senior Executive.
Ability to work in a dynamic, time constrained environment at pace, with composure and professionalism.
Resilience and adaptability are critical as you will be dealing with high level work as well as the pressure that comes with that. We will be leveraging your confidence when dealing with senior staff, relying on your ability to remain unphased by hierarchy.
Discretion is key – you will be entrusted with confidential information so it is critical you maintain this trust and with a professional etiquette. Like all great EA’s, you will be anticipating the next steps, pre-empting what’s required as well as maintaining a strategic lens on the work you do. You will be adept at ‘thinking outside the box’ and planning ahead.
We need you to be a strong and clear communicator with polished presentation.
