Westpac New Zealand Looking for Programme Manager at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

This role reports to the Head of Delivery in our Transformation Office space.

You will Manage complex enterprise-wide programmes within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality from initiation of SOW, requirements gathering, solution design, build test through to deployment and ‘warranty period’ and ensure that your programme adheres to all internal policies and standards, reports in line with Transformation Office requirements and maintains programme governance and reporting management systems.

You Work with internal business and project stakeholders, vendors and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of projects and ensure open and frequent lines of visibility to Senior Managers.

Maintain a high-level view of regulatory and enterprise-wide change internally and within the financial services industry.

Additional key skills for the Workflow Program:

• Experience in workflow and process automation delivery from both business and IT context
• Understanding of operational excellence/efficiency drivers in banking operations
• D365 implementation experience

• Leading large-scale change programmes in a corporate environment (essential)
• A strong appreciation of what it takes to successfully deliver large, complex programmes of work that are interdependent in (essential)
• Senior internal and external stakeholder management and communication skills (essential)
• Demonstrable experience managing a broad range of resources in a matrix organisation (essential)
• Understanding of financial services, in particular compliance obligations of registered Banks in New Zealand (essential).
• 10+ years post-qualification experience (essential).
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Lean etc.
• Experience managing vendors and professional service contracts and arrangements.
• Demonstrated organisational abilities by effectively managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and setting priorities
• Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• JIRA and Confluence Management skills
