The Role:  Consumer Advocate

We are seeking a Consumer Advocate to join our service team which focuses on supporting tangata whaiora in the community to be responsive to their recovery needs. Walking alongside Whanau to wellness.

Essential requirements:

• Mental Health & Wellbeing Level 4 is an essential minimum.
• Full Drivers Licence
• High IT capability – Recordbase (an advantage)
• Understanding MSD,Health,Housing Service practices and procedures
• Good understanding of Advocacy practices and procedures
• Covid 19 vaccinated while no mandates are in place, due to the nature of our work in the community, we want to ensure we are safe to do so.
• Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Equitable outcomes awareness

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm. (40hrs)
