Wilmar Sugar owns and operates eight sugar mills in North Queensland. Our mills – located in the Herbert, Burdekin, Proserpine and Plane Creek regions – operate 24/7 during the crushing season, which typically runs from June to November. Outside of the crush, our teams are involved in an intensive repair, maintenance and innovation program to ensure our sugar mills continue to be safe and reliable, and among the most efficient in the world.

Job Vacancy

Wilmar Sugars Training and Development Team is looking to fill a new role, Digital Content Developer. The person filling the role will work alongside technical specialists to design and create engaging, interactive and effective in-house training content for online and virtual classroom formats.

This role would suit someone who is:

• Creative and enjoys developing training content
• Collaborative in their working style and able to learn new concepts quickly
• A person that thrives in a high-performance and supportive team culture

Specific role responsibilities include:

• Design and create engaging, interactive and effective in-house training content for online and virtual classroom formats
• Partner closely with peers, technical specialists and other business partners to identify appropriate and accurate training content
• Utilise various digital authoring platforms to create targeted training content
• Review and evaluate current training materials

The Successful Applicant

Skills & Experience required for the role include:

• Knowledge and experience in the development of digital training and assessment content within a learning creation platform such as Articulate 360
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts simply and effectively
• Ability and experience in working with a team to produce high-level, integrated training content
