About the role
You will work as the link Educational Psychologist for a group of educational settings including preschools, mainstream schools, and specialist provision.
You will have opportunities to contribute to a wide range of work including our highly regarded ELSA supervision, support for those experiencing Emotional Based School Avoidance, and further projects. You will be an active participant in our regular CPD and supervision and will be encouraged to develop areas of interest.
About the team
Wiltshire Educational Psychology Service is part of Wiltshire’s Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Service. EPs are highly valued within the authority and engage in a diverse range of work, including systemic work, consultation, assessment, training, parent programmes and multiagency working. We work on a partially traded basis, offering schools the opportunity to buy into our innovative subscription mode whilst also providing a range of services that are funded by the local authority.
We have strong links with Southampton and Bristol Doctoral programmes and all our EPs are offered opportunities to be involved in trainee supervision.

About you
We would like you to be creative and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. Alongside having a commitment in promoting equal opportunities an ensuring that the voice of the child and parents are clearly heard.
You will hold a doctoral professional qualification in educational psychology or will be in your third year of training in 2021/22. You will be HCPC registered, or eligible for registration on completion of the professional qualification
Start date: Immediate, as well as opportunity to start September 2022.
In addition to potential permanent members of staff, we are always keen to hear from associate colleagues who would like to work alongside a warm and dynamic EP team.
