Senior Property Administrator
The Senior Property Administrator will have experience administering overall property operations, including building operations, oversee manintenace projects, in accordance with the General Manager direction, legislative requirements and policies and procedures.The Senior Property Administrator supports the Property Manager by completing assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
· Coordination of all aspects of property management, including the development of effective relationships with owners/ tenants;
· Organize the operations of each property to produce results, meet budget targets and expected service levels;
· Responsible of minor and major purchases
· Responsible for rent collection, bank deposits, leasing, writen rule enforcement
· Applied knowledge and experience within property administration and Housing Services Act essential
· Rent-geared-to-income administration (RGI) calculation experience required
· One to three years’ experience in administration providing clerical duties, ensuring timely processing. (Maintaining site documents, filing, data entry/word processing, and third party correspondence)
· Experience in accounting administration (accounts payable / receivable, maintaining accounting files)
· Overseeing general property maintenance and service contracts; recommendations of capital improvements;
· Advise of significant operational problems and deviations from the management plan by presenting findings and suggesting a course of action to rectify the problem.
· Experience dealing with all trades and contractors
· Develop scope-of-work for service contracts, negotiate pricing, and prepare necessary paperwork.
· Coordinate capital projects.
Qualifications:
· Minimum three years of experience as Property Administror / Manager
· Strong administration skills
· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
· Good working knowledge of the RTA and all associated regulations. Understanding and working knowledge of all form associated with RTA
· Ability to prioritize and meet goals in a fast-paced environment;
· Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach;
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
· Experience in working with tenants including the follow- up and collection of arrears
· Proficient computer skills;
· Able to maintain confidentiality with a professional business manner ;
· Valid driver’s license; Own vehicle;
