Areas of responsibility:

The System Engineer I is responsible for the support, maintenance and configuration of assigned applications or systems.

Essential Functions:

• Support and maintain current tools, responding to user requests or issues

• Maintain and improve functionality and usability of assigned applications/systems.

• Contribute to the configuration/development of the application or system and any integration from/to other systems.

• Act as an escalation point and interact with cross-functional teams as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Development of technical documentation

• Knowledge of Cherwell, Service Now, X-Matters and other Incident Management applications

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML or other scripting languages is desired

Minimum Requirements:

College degree in a Technical or a related field and 2-4 years professional level experience; or 6 years professional level related technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related technical experience required.
