WISCONSIN VETERANS HOME Hiring for Licensed Practical Nurse at KING, Wisconsin Full Time

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients or
persons with disabilities in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private
homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the
supervision of a registered nurse. Licensing required. LPNs are
responsible for providing quality, routine, direct and indirect patient
care for geriatric and/or disabled members of WVHK. Examples of duties
performed include: making critical observations of members; performing
personal cares, treatments, medication administration and documentation;
gathering patient data (e.g., blood pressures, pulses, accu checks);
participating in the management of indirect care and maintenance of
assigned unit or building; and participating in activities which
facilitate the development and achievement of unit, building, bureau and
facility goals and objectives. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the LPN requirement, minimally-qualified
applicants will have experience: Providing basic nursing care; and
Administering medications and basic treatments; and Working
