Woodbridge School District Hiring for Administrative Assistant/Receptionist at Woodbridge, CT Full Time

SUMMARY
Performs assigned administrative assistant, secretarial and clerical duties and responsibilities to assist in the professional and efficient operation of Beecher Road School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides telephone and in-person receptionist responsibilities for Beecher Road School, including required safety check-in elements.
• Implements required clerical components of Woodbridge School District student attendance policy.
• Processes incoming and outgoing mail during the school year.
• Provides secretarial and clerical duties for Beecher Road School administrators.
• Assumes responsibility for work of other administrative assistants as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
This position is a 30 hr./wk. school-year position with typical work hours for the 2021-22 school year of 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. An additional five (5) work days will be added to either the beginning and/or the end of the school year. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the CILU, UE Local #222 Agreement.
