WorkForce Software Hiring for Senior Software Engineer – APJ Job at North Sydney, Australia Full Time

As a full-stack Senior Software Engineer, you will be providing strong hands-on leadership, collaborating with our engineers, product owners and third-party providers to build an excellent product to serve our customers and their workforce. You will envision, design, develop and deliver features engineered to the highest quality with a delightful user experience.

You should have:

• At least 10 years’ experience developing commercial and cloud applications
• Proven ability to lead the resolution of technical problems with an ability to breakdown large requirements into manageable pieces of work
• A keen desire working in a collaborative Agile engineering team, sharing your knowledge, experience and providing technical assistance to the rest of the team
• In depth knowledge of developing software using technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL Server
• Experience in developing web user interfaces using React framework
• Experience in designing and implementing REST API using .NET WebAPIs
• Solid knowledge and experience of OO principles, software development and engineering best practices
• An inquisitive mind with an excellent attention to quality and detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Relevant Bachelors’ degree or equivalent industry experience
• Eligibility to work full-time in Australia

• .NET WebForms

• Continuous integration with Git, BitBucket and TeamCity
• Azure, NHibernate, SQL Reporting Services
• Design patterns and open source frameworks
• UX best practices and Web standards

• Awareness of software performance, scalability and security considerations
• Participation in engineering communities
