Works-in-Progress Associates Hiring for Clerical Job at Long Island City, NY Full Time

Seeking a candidate to fill a Clerical position responsible for working on projects related to the New York City School Construction Authority Job Order Contract (SCA JOC).

Responsibilities:

• Draft correspondences and other formal documents
• Data entry
• Plan and schedule appointments and events
• Greet and assist onsite guests
• Answer and direct inbound telephone calls
• Develop and implement organized filing systems
• Perform all other office tasks as requested

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in full-time office administration or other related fields
• High School diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED)
• Well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proficient in both verbal and written English language skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Interest in the construction industry a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
