Minimum/Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, natural resource management, communications, Spanish language, Latin American studies, geography, community planning. Spanish language fluency (written and spoken). Ability to develop and deliver educational programs to adult audiences. Ability to or experience managing projects. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Position Duties 80% ‘ Extension and Outreach: ‘ Conduct needs assessments and informational interviews with organizations that serve Latino/a/x communities in Washington, Oregon, and California to inform the development of partnerships and learning objectives for educational and Extension programming. ‘ In collaboration with partners, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs to include classes, workshops, short courses, seminars, field tours, webinars, and/or web-based instructional modules, for audiences of Latino/a/x forest workers and businesses in the Northwest. These programs will be focused on forest worker safety, ecological principles of forest management, and business development opportunities. 20% ‘ Project Management: ‘ Lead and assist with communication among the project team, including organizing regular virtual meetings, taking notes, and managing files and data. ‘ Develop and maintain a webpage and social media accounts describing the project and providing timely updates.
