Minimum/Required Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering
or field appropriate to the work assigned; or an equivalent combination
of education and four years experience in data interpretation, data
modeling, design, deployment, integration and testing of system
integrations. Minimum of five years of experience in administrative
project planning and management; large systems design, implementation
and production processing; customer problem resolution and
troubleshooting; and systems design and analysis, preferably in an
academic setting. Experience working with relational database management
systems, and with complex ERP level systems. Excellent oral and written
communications skills. Experience working in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment. Position Duties 30% Data Integration
Architect: Set overall technical direction/vision and help define data
integration and data modeling and architecture standards to ensure
robust, reliable, and technologically advanced IT data management as
appropriate to the 21st century research, instruction, and extension
mission of Oregon State University. 25% Enterprise Business Applications
Framework Management: Serve as the Enterprise Applications
representative and advisor regarding the development of new enterprise
business application frameworks (e.g., mobile application framework) for
OSU. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, education,
training, and technical support for these central administrative
applications. 25% Integration Development: Work with other Analyst
Programmers and University staff in the design, enhancement,
modification and implementation of integrations and custom applications.
10% Leadership: Serve as a member the Administrative Technologies
management team to help create appropriate organizational structures to
respond to technological change (such as more robust system-to-system
data models, a move to cloud services, etc.) in order to meet University
