World Vision is hiring a SPIR II Senior Research and Learning Coordinator to serve on the Evidence and Learning team within the International Programs Group.

Travel: Domestic and international travel required, at least 15-20% of time both in development and fragile contexts.
01 The Job: The Senior Research and Learning Coordinator will be hired to manage Research and Learning (R&L) for the SPIR II grant (USAID) in Ethiopia. Strengthen PSNP Institutions and Resilience II (SPIR II) is a 5-year USAID/BHA funded Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) led by World Vision and includes consortium partners CARE, ORDA and IFPRI. World Vision and its partners will create a strong, shock responsive ecosystem of public, private, and community level actors to support PSNP households to graduate from poverty and sustain income and food security gains in 17 targeted woredas in Amhara and Oromia regions. The grant will have a robust learning agenda and will be a significant contributor to national level discussions pertaining to the safety net (PSNP). This role is funded for two years.

05 Where This Job Could Take Your Career: As the SPIR II Senior Research and Learning Coordinator, you will primarily work with our Food Security and Livelihoods team to generate insights from evidence in order to grow our portfolio and promote our technical branding. You will also have the opportunity to support programs and initiatives housed in our Health, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA), and Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation teams. As a member of the Research and Learning Department, you will learn and grow alongside seasoned Research Specialists by assisting in ongoing research endeavors undertaken by the team. You’ll be part of World Vision USA as well as part of the larger World Vision International Partnership. Globally, we have over 34,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries (~1,000 staff with World Vision US).
