This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Manager – Lead Inspector for our Binghamton, NY office. Be involved in projects with our Power Transmission & Distribution Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client”s objectives and solves their challenges.
Provides inspection support, technical guidance, and oversight to ensure and validate construction compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and codified requirements. Responsibilities involve performing and overseeing field inspections on various multi-site/phase construction projects of moderate to larger scale, scope, and/or complexity, including examining and evaluating the placement of concrete, installation of underground pipelines, earthwork and roadway paving, buildings, structures, systems, building materials, mechanical and electrical installations, foundations, and environment. Generates and substantiates reports and documentation regarding equipment, construction, materials, integration, and operation specifications. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, functionality, and sustainability.
