This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Project Manager MEP for our Denver, Colorado office. Be involved in projects with our PMCM Denver Project Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges
The position will support a wide variety of ongoing capital projects at the airport including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The desired candidate will perform advanced management work on complex mechanical projects from inception to completion and requires a broad understanding of Denver agencies, policies, standards, and systems.
WSP employs a team of Project Managers who serve as integrated staff at the Denver International Airport. Our Project Managers deliver design and construction projects in the Airport Infrastructure Management (AIM) team, supporting Facilities Services and the Infrastructure groups. Project managers work on projects from inception to completion providing owner”s representation, oversight, and stakeholder coordination needed to deliver the project.
In this role, you will work closely with the AIM team to define projects, to oversee the design phase, to assist in the procurement and bid selection phase, and deliver the construction project. Your duties will include management of the day-to-day progression of multiple elements of projects, coordinating with operations and tenants, managing the design process and integration of designs with DEN Design Standards Manuals (DSMs) and other applicable code, and tracking and measuring project throughout design and construction

Applies principles, methods or tools for project execution including project schedules, coordination, monitoring, evaluating, and management of project resources and performance.
Works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job and advises others on technical issues.
Prepares, justifies, and administers the budget for projects to ensure cost-effective support of project.
Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resources required to meet project objectives.
Coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals.
Establishes and maintains constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with peers, managers, and staff from other organizations both internal and external.
Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives and makes recommendations
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of appropriate experience could substitute for the education requirement.
A minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience including planning, managing, and scheduling projects and preparing and reviewing contract documents.
Employment authorization to work in the United States immediately.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP”s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Ability to pass a 5-year back-ground check
Preferred Qualifications
Local Candidates preferred
Proficiency with Unifier or another project management software
Compensation and Benefits:
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee”s career.
Expected Salary: $74,900 – $148,500
WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant”s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant”s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
