The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects. You will manage, develop client portfolio, and strengthen WTW’s relationships to grow portfolio within the business unit. You will also focus on targeting and converting prospects.
The following are some elements of working as a member of the team:
Client Relationship Management
Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service.
Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients to preserve engagement
Liaise with clients to build, maintain, and strengthen customer trust
Business Development
Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities
Actively drive the sales process to winning, retaining, and developing profitable new clients
Maintain a detailed knowledge of products and services offered by WTW
Placement Management
Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition
Deliver optimisation of revenue from new and existing clients through the use of the full range of appropriate placement channels and markets for the specific client segment of the business
Operational and Service Delivery
Lead and deliver the end-to-end ongoing client service
Manage and communicate KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met
Adhere to Group policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements
The Requirements
5+ years’ experience working as a Corporate Account Director or similar role
Educated to a degree level, CIP qualification is a requirement.
All-inclusive negotiation and influencing skills
Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service
Proven sales track, account development and appropriate tools to convert prospect to clients
Knowledge of insurance markets globally effectively deal with client and global needs
Experience of adhering to global processes and systems to support client service delivery
Builds effective relationships, with the purpose to strengthen trust
Enables ambassadors to represent WTW’s purpose, values, and culture with integrity and credibility
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel to other locations as required.
