We are seeking a skilled and experienced Receiver and Narrow Aisle Reach Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and operating a narrow aisle reach forklift to move and stack materials in our warehouse, as well as loading and unloading trucks as required. The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on safety, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a solid understanding of warehouse operations.

A day in the life of a Receiver/Forklift operator:
· Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments (roughly 75% of your time)
· Verify the accuracy of each shipment by comparing it to the purchase order or delivery note
· Sort and store goods in the appropriate location in the warehouse
· Update inventory records in the computer system
· Prepare and pack items for shipment, as required
· Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to the warehouse supervisor
· Operate a narrow aisle reach forklift to move and stack materials in the warehouse (roughly 25% of your time)
· Load and unload trucks as required
· Conduct regular safety checks on the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor
· Ensure that all materials are stored in the correct locations
· Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Follow all safety procedures and protocols
· Assist in other areas of the warehouse, as required
What you will bring to the team:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
· Familiarity with receiving procedures and inventory management
· Proficient in the use of computer systems for inventory management
· Valid Narrow Aisle Reach forklift operator’s certification (or experience andwillingness to complete certification which would be support by Wurth Canada)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a narrow aisle reach forklift
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to lift 20-30 lb objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
