Highbridge Human Capital is excited to be partnering with Xaxli’p First Nation to find an exceptionally talented individual to lead and manage the Nation’s programs and departments. The Xaxli’p First Nation are one of the 11 nations part of the St’at’imc Nation located in the Fountain Valley near the Village of Lillooet. Xaxli’p’s mission is to be a proud, independent, self-sufficient Xaxli’pmec and to pursue their title and rights with the best interest of the Xaxli’p people in mind. The Xaxli’p administration provide programs that span Finance, Health, Social Development, Housing, Education, Public Works, and have an Economic Development corporation to provide progressive strides for self-sustainability.
Job Summary: A day in the life of our Band Administrator
Reporting to and under the support and supervision provided by Chief & Council, the Administrator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all programs and services and will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way. They will ensure all decisions and actions meet the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures that govern Xaxli’p and any other Laws enacted by the Xaxli’p Council from time to time.
The Band Administrator will lead according to the vision, objectives and strategic direction set by Chief and Council and translate this vision into a workable reality. The Administrator will act as a transformer, strategist and mentor and will have a diverse range of capabilities that span leadership, governance, operations, administration, and community relations.
