Xendit Hiring For People Engagement Coordinator at Central Singapore Full Time

The Role

We’re looking for an People engagement coordinator to help look after and assist our people in their everyday needs, from growing people and being their voice of reason to motivation and encouragement – making a real impact on the people of Xendit. This role comes with substantial trust and responsibility, and has a real and important impact on Xendit.
This role’s focus will be on engagement – how do we engage,  listen to, and  grow our people so they are fulfilled here. You’ll be directly involved in inducting new employees to implementing real change for the betterment of our people. The actions, words and the decisions you make have a real impact on the future of our employees, and thus the future of the company as a whole, so you’ll be personally liable for our success.
What you will be doing
- Be there, and available for everyone at Xendit, as a trusted advisor, avid listener and confidant
- Be there for management to advise on strategic People and Industrial Relations matters
- Build trust and rapport with everyone at Xendit
- Connect with employees regularly on a monthly basis through People-focused 1-1’s
- Provide a ‘safe space’ for people to voice concerns confidentially
- Raise up essential feedback, tactfully, to the right peopleÂ
- Increase employee engagement, motivation and commitment to the Xendit Vision
- Collect and collate People-oriented feedback from the team in a data-driven way
- Analyse and visualise this data to help us make a decision related to people in Xendit
- Use this data to make valuable and high impact change within the organisation
- Conduct studies related to the people in Xendit that will benefit in people engagement
- Initiate and drive People initiatives specifically to drive engagement, ownership mentality, and overall work-life satisfaction (example: benefit, employee appreciation, etc)
- Giving the best experience starting from Day 1
- Engage and support new employees throughout the onboarding process, including Day 1 onboarding, product training, inductions, and other relevant processes
- Assist everyone involved in the offboarding process
- Lead fun and engaging internal events
- Provide 100% peace of mind that Xendit is compliant always
- Have excellent knowledge of how local labour and industrial regulations
- Work with stakeholders to implement best-practice People management tools and processes
What you will need
- Graduated from a discipline related to Psychology/Management/Industrial Technology/organisational behaviour
- Have 1+ years of experience in HR/Human Capital/People team (engagement and/or culture field is desirable)
- Ability to do data analysis, visualisation, and reporting
- Not afraid to work with senior management, and be assertive in communicating with them
- Quick to build rapport and trust with everyone, regardless of culture, personality or country of origin
- Passionate about helping others, and will go the extra mile to make sure people feel heard and happy in their place of work
- Hate gossip and are an avid protector of confidentiality
- Thrive on autonomy and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
- Communicate well across teams
Nice to have
- Have experience in fintech and/or startups before or have scaled culture and People team rapidly
